TUTORS NEEDED FOR THE ¡GRADUATE! PROGRAM
We are always looking for volunteer tutors to help our students during after- school tutoring sessions. Volunteer tutors play an essential role in the program by helping students stay on top of their homework and study for exams, as well as serving as mentors and role models.

¡Gradúate! Program tutors are not just there for homework help. Our tutors form meaningful relationships with our students and help motivate them to succeed. In order to fulfill this mentor role, we ask that tutors commit to a regular schedule of at least one day per week.

PROFILE OF TUTORS:

This is a great opportunity for anyone with interest in education, advocacy, nonprofit work, the Spanish language, or Teach for America after college. Preferred volunteers will have at least basic Spanish skills and reliable transportation, and be willing to commit to a regular schedule.  Volunteers are also needed for parent workshops between 6:00 and 8:30 PM, in the fall and winter. Certificate of volunteer hours will be provided by NCSHP.
